Aggressive and reliable Interior Linebacker with a nose to stop the run, but will underwhelm in coverage and has a habit of overshooting his responsibility and removing himself from the play
He is one of the first to jump on the chance to cut off any runners once a direction has been established, and has a surprising ability to stuff himself where the runner was attempting to go, often requiring the offense to bounce to the outside, or get stalled behind the line of scrimmage.
His skill set is very much geared towards that of an off-ball linebacker, as his main strength comes from his ability to mobilize in coverage, and his seemingly swift movement to crash down on runs, and pick up any backs coming to the flats out of the backfield.
Allen and Bosa were both used by their teams as disruptive edge rushers, but aside from that, there are few similarities between the two in how they play the game.
